AMD Ryzen 5 2500X and AMD Ryzen 3 2300X specifications now available

AMD Ryzen 5 2500X and AMD Ryzen 3 2300X specifications

Today, we have come to know more about the specifications of the new models Ryzen 3 2300X and 2500X Ryzen 5, as well as energy – efficient models E. The names of these processor models are not a novelty for anyone, they have been appearing for some time on some pages of motherboard manufacturers, but today we fill in some gaps in their specification tables.

The first processor we have is the A MD Ryzen 3 2300X, a processor that opens with four cores and four wires, each of them having a frequency of 3.5 GHz. The L3 cache of this processor is a little low, it is in the 8 MB, and its TDP is 65 W -something that misses us-.

We miss the TDP of the AMD Ryzen 3 2300X, because it is the same as that of the R yzen 5 2500X, having this 4 cores and 8 threads at 3.6 GHz. That, although the improvement is little, the operation of this equipment can generate more heat. The L3 cache reaches 16 MB, twice the previous model.

If we go to the models of low consumption, we find the AMD Ryzen 2700E that has 8 cores and 16 threads at 2.8 GHz sharing information in a L3 cache memory of 16 MB and with a TDP of only 45 W. to this processor we have the AMD Ryzen 5 2600E with six cores and twelve threads at 3.1 GHz together with an L3 cache of 16 MB and with the same TDP as the previous E model: 45 W. These low-power processors have a pretty good performance and a low TDP that makes them the ideal elements for equipment where space is scarce and large heatsinks can not be had.

We have not been able to know the Turbo frequencies of any of the four new processors, this is a fact that we do not usually know about the first processors, until they are filtered in greater detail. The bet of AMD in its second generation does not only happen to bring us processors with exceptional power, but also others with a low consumption (thanks to its new architecture Zen + of 12 nm).
