G.Skill Trident Z Royal Series DDR4 RGB: up to 4600 Mhz at luxury

G.Skill Trident Z Royal Series DDR4 RGB

The specialist in memory RAM DDR4 of high performance G.Skill has announced the last incorporation to his family of memories Trident Z, the Trident Z Royal Series DDR4 RGB, some memories that contribute the habitual quality inside this family top of range of the manufacturer, with speeds of up to 4600 Mhz and some daring luxury designs never seen before.

The new G.Skill Trident Z Royal Series RAM memories have a new heat sink design, which shares with the previous Trident Z RGB the brushed aluminum of great thickness and effectiveness when it comes to dissipating the heat generated, but incorporating a new system of lighting using a full-sized glass light bar, for which they already have the patent pending, and which incorporates eight independent lighting zones that, of course, are fully configurable.

These Royal Series of G.Skill come with dissipater in color gold or silver, and three different models of bar of light, including one that emulates the diamond.

According to the manufacturer, this design wants to emulate the jewels -that is why we speak of luxury-, and they have been manufactured to show exactly the amount of light necessary to create refraction and, in this way, create light and color effects that up to now They have never been seen on any computer. So much so, that for the first time the manufacturer includes together with these RAM kits some special cloths to clean the modules of possible marks that we leave with our fingers on them.

The crystal lighting bar that these Royal Series memories have has a total of eight independent lighting zones, which allows a transition between effects and a very high level of customization. In addition, to configure this lighting (which of course is RGB) and its effects, the manufacturer launches new software that will soon be available to download from its website. As a curiosity, they do not mention anything about whether it is compatible with the usual RGB lighting on motherboards such as Asus Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light, etc.

Several times we have talked about the Trident Z family of G.Skill, the top range family of the brand that not only has one of the best heat sinks for RAM on the market, but also provide a level of performance outside of all doubt. Thus, these memories are presented in speeds ranging from DDR4 to 3000 Mhz in its most basic version to DDR4 4600 Mhz in its top-of-the-range version, and of course in kits of 16 to 128 GB capacity.

The manufacturer has said that they are available, but you know that since they say that until they arrive in stores, it usually takes several weeks. Nor do they mention anything about the price, but considering that it is the range’s top RAM memory kits from the manufacturer, we can predict that they will be quite expensive.
