Benchmarks of LG Optimus G2 were spotted few days back as LG D801, which also confirmed that the phone will be running Android key line pie and will be released in H2 2013. Optimus G2 specs include Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, codenamed Qualcomm MSM8974 that runs at 1.7GHz clock speed.
The Snapdragon 800 is vastly superior to Snapdragon 600 and S4 Pro processors released last year. So expect the Optimus G2 to pack lot of zip. In the benchmarks, the LG phone was running the most stable build on Android which is 4.2.2 but we do not see any reason why it would not be running Android 5.0 (key lime pie) by the time it is released.
