CWM recovery is a must have requirement for flashing a unofficial update and custom ROMs. XDA developers has released CWM (clock work mod) for the Xperia Z. Here are the steps on how to install CWM recovery into Xperia Z.
Note – You must have a rooted Xperia Z; locked bootloader and a Windows computer with ADB drivers installed.
1. Press volume up or down when green LED is on while booting.
2. Download the package and extract it to your computer and run the script to install the recovery.
