If you have already unlocked your HTC One Max at htcdev, and have installed clockwork mod recovery on it, you can easily root it too, within seconds. Rooting allows you to customize your Android phone to a new level. It also lets you install apps that require super user permission, for instance, apps that require super access to underclock or overclock the phone. You would also be able to remove bloatware easily by installing Titanium backup. To remove bloatware, you can also try using bloatware remover that has originally made for the HTC One (we have not tried it on One Max though).
First download this zip file, and place it on your phone’s SD card. Then flash this file by going into recovery. To go into recovery mode, press and hold Volume Up and Power buttons together for few seconds.
