Microsoft, it seems is about to launch its first tablet with support for 3G, and 4G mobile broadband. As per FCC website, Microsoft has filed for approval for a device with WiFi, GSM, Bluetooth, LTE, WCDMA. It is speculated that this will be 4G version of the Surface 2 Tablet.
The technical data does not change much. Thus, it would remain a 10.6-inch Full HD display tablet with the Nvidia Tegra 4 processor and 2 GB of RAM. The Tegra 4 doesn’t have a LTE module, an external solution with an additional module must be employed. When exactly will the Surface 2 LTE appear is not known yet, probably it will be launched in a few weeks.
