We finally have the CWM and TWRP recoveries for the Nokia X android phone. To flash ClockworkMod (CWM) you must have ADB set up on your computer. Download CWM from here and connect your Nokia X to the PC using a micro USB cable.
Then flash it using this command.
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot -i 0x0421 flash recovery cwm-6028-normandy.img
That is it. You now have CWM on your Nokia X.
If you prefer having TWRP go to this thread on XDA and flash it.
Having a CWM or TWRP will allow you to install custom ROMs or / and root your device. For instance you can now install AOSP on your Nokia X only after having CWM / TWRP onboard.
