Lenovo recently launched two new business-oriented notebooks. The new Lenovo IdeaPad M5400G M5400A has a silver cover made of polycarbonate. Large touchpad and comfortable keyboard (with numeric keypad), both characterized by soft lines of the IdeaPad series and austerity of ThinkPad (also missing the trackpoint).
Lenovo IdeaPad M5400A (with dedicated graphics card) and M5400G (with integrated graphics) are two mainstream laptops with fingerprint reader, available in at least three different configurations. All versions are equipped with a matte display to 15.6 inches, but only with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, and the Intel Core i5-4200M processor with 3MB cache and frequency of 2.5-3.1 GHz The cheapest model is the Lenovo IdeaPad M5400G with Intel HD Graphics 4400 integrated graphics, while Lenovo M5400A comes with Nvidia GeForce GT 740m graphics card with 2GB of memory. The equipment is then completed with 4GB or 8GB RAM and storage solutions, including hybrid hard drive 1TB or 500GB hard drive with 8GB of flash memory.
Thanks to the generous dimensions of the chassis, the Lenovo M5400A M5400G features an integrated DVD burner , a VGA and HDMI port, one USB 2.0 port and two USB 3.0 ports, a module WiFi 802.11n and Gigabit LAN. The two Lenovo notebooks will be sold in FreeDOS version for $ 500, but also with Windows 8/8.1 Pro.
