Onda V975i V819i Specs, comes with Bay Trail Atom CPU

Not surprisingly Onda will the first company to feature latest Intel Atom Z3740D bay trail-t processors. The company will be launching not one but two tablets, V975i and V819i on 3rd of April. This will allow manufactures to give tough competition to ARM based Android tablets by offering Intel based tablets with Bay trail system on chip.

The SoC is 64 bit processor and we have already seen benchmarks of Z3740D earlier where we saw that it was capable of handling 4k videos at 2560×1600 pixel resolution. The Onda V975i will be a premium model with 9.7 inch retina display packing 2048×1536 pixels while the V819i will come with a 16:10 8 inch screen with unknown resolution.

Intel along with Chinese manufactures has been churning out quite a few tablets with bay trail processor inside. Couple of days back Ramos introduced i10Pro with even more powerful Z3770D based tablet with 10.1 inch screen and 2 gigs of RAM. The Alpen Tab 10.1 comes with same CPU as Onda, the Z3740D.
