Sony Xperia Z comes with a non removable battery which has a capacity of 2330mAh. While it sounds good on paper and Sony claims that you will be able get excellent battery life from it, we, at phoneprouser.com beg to differ. In my normal usage test, I was able to get mere 3-4 hours of active use from it.
I use my phone for web browsing, whatsapp, facebook and some email. I had not installed any other third party app. To make matters worse, Sony bundled a slow charger that charges the battery by mere 2-3 percent in 5 minutes. I used my friends’ Note 2 charger to charge my Xperia Z later which was much, much faster.
