Trekstor unveiled a hybrid laptop SurfTab Duo W2, which boasts Intel Core M, 11.6 “screen and Windows 10. The Trekstor SurfTab duo W2 is not just another cheap windows tablet since it is priced between 600 – 700 euro (2,530 zlotys). This is chiefly because Trekstor SurfTab duo W2 specifications are great and can do job of a mainstream laptop.

Trekstor SurfTab duo W2 specifications include Intel Core M-5Y10 dual core processor clocked at 800 Mhz – 2 GHz, 4MB cache, Integrated Intel HD Graphics 5300 (clocked at 100 – 800 MHz), 4GB DDR3L 1600 MHz RAM and 64GB of SSD storage expandable via micro SD card reader.

You get two USB ports, one on the tablet and another on its dock, HDMI, micro USB port, dual-band wireless module working in a standard ac, Bluetooth 4.0, a 5 megapixel main camera and 2MP front camera for video calling, GPS receiver and 11.6 inch WUXGA display with IPS technology for wide viewing angles and high contrast – all enclosed in a metal housing.

One of the weaknesses of any mini PC is lack of enough USB ports and the new DS152 is keen on rectifying this problem. DS152 features five USB ports  – it has two on left side, two on right and one on the back. It features a slim line design which otherwise has typical mini PC specifications.

DS152 specifications include Intel Atom Z3735F quad core 64 bit processor, 2 gigabytes of memory, 16 / 32 GB of eMMC flash storage, WiFi b / g / n and Bluetooth 4.0. Coming to connectivity, you get USB ports, one micro USB, micro SD card reader, 3.5mm audio jack, HDMI port and a 10/100 RJ45 connector. It runs Windows operating system.

Interestingly, the DS152 Mini PC also features a 800 mAh internal battery which should provide at least one hour of runtime when not being on AC adapter. You can buy the 16GB version for 130 dollars.

Fujitsu has started global distribution of Stylistic Q665 which sits between the Stylistic Q555 and the Stylistic Q775. Fujitsu Stylistic Q665 specifications include Intel Core M processor, 11.6 inch full HD display, Wacom digitizer, 4 / 8GB of RAM, 64 / 128GB SSD, optional 4G LTE radio, USB 3.0; USB 2.0; micro HDMI, micro SD, Wi-Fi 802.11a / b / g / n / ac, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC.

Fujitsu Stylistic Q665 measures 294.8 × 192.4 × 11.9 mm and weighs 795 grams. For operating systems, you get the choice between Windows 7 Pro, Windows 8.1 Pro or Windows 10 Pro.

It is semi-rugged and able to withstand liquid and powder according to the standard IP58. The display backlight can go up to 300 cd / m² and features passive capacitive digitizer which will be well appreciated by professionals. Tronsmart Ara BJ19 is a celeron powered mini PC packing some really great specifications. Tronsmart is a Chinese company that has been making chipsets, PCs and computer peripherals from quite sometime. The company is now stepping into mini PC market.

Tronsmart Ara BJ19 is powered by Intel Celeron J1900 which is a quad core chip clocked at 2GHz and capable of pushing its frequency to 2.41 GHz under turbo boost mode. Manufactured using 22nm technology, the J1900 comes with 2MB cache and TDP of mere 10 watts which means it does not dissipate a lot of heat.

We have already seen this chipset in myriad Shuttle and Asus mini PCs and it is perfectly suited to the office and home use. However it is not fanless and you will find vents on the back of the unit. The Tronsmart Ara BJ19 comes with up to 8GB of DDR3L RAM and a conventional 2.5-inch bay for a hard drive or SSD.

Connectivity options include a full-size HDMI, MiniDisplay port for dual display support, Gigabit Ethernet network, 802.11 b / g / n wireless card, Bluetooth 4.0, four USB 2.0 ports, 3.5 mm audio jack and an infrared receiver.

Gigabyte Intel Z170 based chipset has been made available in the market. So much hype surrounds this chipset as it is based on Intel Skylake platform. This includes three models, GA-Gigabyte Z170X Gaming G1, GA-Z170X Gaming 7 Z170X and GA Z170X Gaming 3.

All three come with Gigabyte Q-Flash Plus that allows users to update the BIOS without having a processor or RAM installed. Just copy the BIOS on a USB flash drive and the motherboard will flash the updated BIOS.

Moreover, Gigabyte has decided to change the shape and brand their VRM. Also in the G1.Killer model, you will find a new arrangement of the board sinks with option to integrate a custom liquid cooling system. Another interesting feature is the inclusion of what Gigabyte has called Turbo V-Clock Tuning IC. Overclocking fans will find it much easier to increase the operating frequency of the processor installed in these chipsets.

Also, in some models they have integrated some physical buttons to perform overclocking without having to enter the BIOS.
