45W Galaxy Note 10 Charger review, not worth it for most

45W Galaxy Note 10 Charger review

This is review of 45 watt charger that was released with the Samsung Galaxy Note 10. This is compatible with both Note 10+ and Note 10 variants.

45W charger review for Galaxy Note 10

What makes the Note 10 45 watt charger special is its ability to charge mobile faster from about 0 – 80%. For a full charge to 100% the difference is very small as the charging slows down greatly after 85% no matter what charger you use.

Make sure to either use a cable that has emarker and USB-IF certified. Any cable that make use of USB 2 protocol won’t fast charging speeds the 45W charger can offer.

Here are some of my findings.

* 45W Note 10+ OEM charging block connected to 10 ft usb-c to usb-c cable: battery 21% 54 min to full charge
* 45W Note 10+ OEM charging block connected to Samsung provided 5A cable: battery 21% 54 min to full charge
* 25W Note 10+ OEM charging block connected to 10ft usb-c to usb-c cable: battery 21% 1 hour and 2 min to full charge
* 25W Note 10+ OEM charging block connected to Samsung provided (in box) cable: battery 21% 1 hour and 2 min to full charge

As you can see, the 45W charger is not worth buying for most users. There is not really a big difference from the already very-capable 25 watt charger. So, it is a waste of money for most.
