ThinkBook Plus Twist Review – OLED on the front and color E Ink on the back

Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Twist Review

Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Twist is a laptop with an OLED on the front and a color E Ink display on the back, both of which can be seen from the keyboard side with a dual hinge. It will be available in June, starting at $1,649.

The same dual hinge as the Lenovo ThinkPad X41 Tablet released in 2005 and the ThinkPad Twist released in 2012 is used, allowing you to view two screens without turning over the main unit. The company calls it a reinvention in front and back dual display products.

In particular, when using color E Ink, it is possible to extend battery life, which is useful when writing manuscripts using a keyboard and pen. Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Twist is also useful for checking schedules on the calendar and reading emails while traveling. Meanwhile, for advanced document and image editing, you can take advantage of the OLED display reaching 400cd/m2.

The main display of Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Twist is a 2.8K OLED with a narrow frame and supports touch. The sub on the top board uses a 12-inch color E Ink with a front light, and the refresh rate is 12Hz and supports touch. Writing with a pen is also supported.

Other Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Twist specifications are 13th generation Intel Core processor, maximum 16GB LPDDR5X memory, maximum 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage, and Windows 11 OS. Interfaces include Thunderbolt 4 x 2, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.1, fingerprint sensor, full HD compatible web camera, audio input/output, etc.
