Rooting your galaxy Note will allow you to do more with your device as it will give you Super SU(super user) mode. You will be able to theme the elements; install custom firmwares; remove bloat (by using Titanium backup) and so on. Follow these instructions on how to root your Samsung GT-N7000 phone:
– Download Root_SuperSu 0.94 (link).
-Copy downloaded file to Ext SD card.
-Reboot into recovery (vol up+Home+power)
-Select install zip from ext SD card
-select ‘root_SuperSU-*.zip’ which you have copied to Ext card above
-Reboot device
-You can see superSU on appl drawer. open it and update.
-Now download BusyBox from Play market.
