In this tutorial we will guide on how to root Motorola Moto E the easy way using Super Tool from XDA as-well-as how to install CWM customer recovery on it.
First you must unlock the bootloader of it. If you have not already you can visit Motorola’s website to get it done or you can follow our unlock bootloader guide for Moto E.
Download the Moto E Auto Root tool.
- Get it from here.
Extract the tool to your desktop
Turn on usb debugging mode on the device
install the Motorola drivers
Run the Moto E auto root.bat file
then just select what you want to do
1. Root your Moto E
2. Flash TWRP Recovery
3. Flash Stock Android Recovery
4. flash CWM recovery
5. remove unlocked bootloader warning
6. full restore of device for moto e xt1023 only
7. full restore plus relock bootloader for moto e xt1023 only
That is it. You’ve rooted your Moto E.
