Corsair K70 RGB keyboard specifications

Many users after long hours of gaming or intensive work end up with very painful wrists, either due to poor sitting posture or height differences. The truth is that even configuring our setup correctly there are people who suffer pain or simply do not feel comfortable with their keyboard. For them there are options with which Corsair has just presented,  K70 RGB MK.2 LOW PROFILE and K70 RGB MK.2 LOW PROFILE RAPIDFIRE.

Nowadays it seems that if our keyboard is not mechanical we are not competent gamers or we do not have the right weapons to overcome the rival. Corsair knows that every gamer, whether casual or hardcore, values a good mechanical keyboard and at the same time has quality and innovates in a section that provides exclusivity.

Therefore, these two  Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 Low Profile are based on the award-winning KGB RGB MK.2, which has been given a restyling improving and innovating in some details. For starters, they have the fastest Cherry MX Low Profile RGB switches that include a new low profile design of only 11.9 mm and a short acting distance.

To be specific, the Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 Low Profile RapidFire includes Cherry MX Low Profile RGB Speed switches, which are exclusive to Corsair and can reduce the distance of pressing at a distance of only 1 mm.

On the other hand the Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 Low Profile (to dry) uses another version of switches, being this Cherry MX Low Profile RGB Red, that offer a linear and smooth movement with a distance of 1.2 mm, which equals the version Cherry MX RGB Original red of higher height.

The transparent housing of these new switches is designed to better diffuse the LED lighting, since the keys are closer to the diode itself, so we will have more brightness and liveliness than ever. To control the lighting we will have to resort to the exclusive Corsair software, the iCUE, which has been with us for some time now and supports all the hardware of the brand.

They would not be Low Profile keyboards without a chassis for that purpose. The body of these K70 RGB MK.2 Low Profile is designed and constructed in black brushed aluminum with glossy and matt tones spread throughout the keyboard.

With a height of only 29 mm  are the finest desk keyboards that Corsair has created, allowing our hands to adopt a more natural position, and thanks to this we apply less pressure on the palms or wrists, thus avoiding pain after many Hours of use.

Both keyboards are now available through Corsair’s network of authorized dealers and distributors worldwide, although the brand has not set a recommended price for any of its two keyboards.
