Sony has released three portal hard disk drives PSZ-HA1T, PSZ-HA50 and PSZ-HA2T that look tough and rugged. All of them look and feel the same but have different storage capacities and of course price tags.
PSZ-HA1T, PSZ-HA50 and PSZ-HA2T have 1TB, 500GB and 2TB storage capacities respectively. Price start for $270 / €197 for the 2TB model.
Maximum transfer speed is 120 MB/s which should be sufficient for pretty much everything. The HDDs are compliant with MIL-STD-810G standard as well as IPX4 which means it is splash resistant. There is an LED indicator on the front to show the state of data transfer.
The Sony hard disk can be formatted in exFAT, FAT32, HFS+ and NTFS. Connectivity ports include two FireWire 800 and one USB 3.0 connector.
