Team Group has announced release of PCIe 4.0-compatible M.2 NVMe P250Q SSD series, which is equipped with a data erasure function. This industrial product is available in capacities of 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB.
The P250Q is an industrial M.2 SSD equipped with both hardware and software data erasure functions, including a button that starts erasure with one click. An independent destruction circuit allows data to be directly erased from flash ICs, and a software system that automatically resumes data erasure even in the event of an unexpected power outage allows confidential information to be completely deleted.
In addition, it is equipped with an LED indicator that displays the progress. It uses 3D TLC NAND flash, with sequential read speeds of up to 7,000MB/s, sequential write speeds of up to 5,500MB/s, and an MTBF of 3 million hours. Operating temperature range: 0 to 70°C.
