If you have rooted Galaxy Note 10 / 10 Plus / Note 10+ 5G or have installed TWRP on Note 10, you might be getting this warning that says “This phone is not running Samsung’s official software. You may have problems with features or security, and you won’t be able to install software updates.”
Samsung has modified the boot screen for the Samsung Note 10 owners which shows aforementioned message every single time you boot. There is a patch released on xda that lets you get rid of all the warnings.
Just keep in mind that this patch is only for the Note 10 Exynos owners and not Snapdragon variants.
1. Download the correct file from below.
2. Switch off your phone and then go into the download mode (vol up + vol down and connect USB)…
3. Start Odin
4. Place the file downloaded in Step 1 in the BL section.
OPTIONAL: make sure auto-reboot is off in Odin. Once the flashing is complete, disconnect and exit the download mode. And that is it. You have successfully removed the warning.
It has been tested on Exynos SM-N970, SM-N971, SM-N975 and SM-N976 variants of Samsung Galaxy Note 10.
