Nokia X, X+ and XL specs price

Nokia has finally unveiled the Nokia X, it’s first entry-level smartphones based on Android AOSP that will cater the needs of emerging markets with its dual-SIM compatibility. Nokia launched three another budget device at their press event, known as the Nokia X+ and XL, priced between the Asha and Lumia range of smartphones. The most catchy thing on the handsets is the operating system, that is, Android. It runs a forked version of Android.

At first glance, these phones appear to be a Lumia smartphone with Windows Phone. Nokia continues with this Android smartphone but without Google Certification. The software comes with Microsoft and Nokia services and have several Android apps pre-installed. Users can install hundreds of thousands of apps from the Nokia Store. Additionally, users can also sideload apps, change the size of aaps.

Both Nokia X and X+ comes with 4-inch IPS LCD display (800 x 480 pixels resolution) and are powered by a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 8225 1GHz processor with 4GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot for expansion, as well as 7GB free OneDrive storage. Nokia X comes with 512MB of RAM while the Nokia X+ comes with 768MB of RAM. The Nokia XL boasts a 5-inch display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, a 5MP rear camera with a 2MP front-facing camera, and a 2,000 mAh battery, while all the other specifications remains the same as the Nokia X+.

Nokia X will be available in bright green, bright red, cyan, yellow, black and white. Nokia X costs € 89 ($ 122) and will be available for sale immediately in Asia-Pacific, Europe, India, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa, while the Nokia X+ and XL will cost € 99 ($ 136) and € 109 ($ 149), and will hit retail in second quarter of 2014.
