A developer Kamal Singh has released a live kirtan (religious song) Windows Phone application that lets you listen to live stream from Durbar Sahib Amritsar, a holy place for Sikhs. The application is completely free of cost and also lets you see Hukumnama, a written scripture that is updated daily.
The application works in the background so that you are able to carry out your other tasks without being in the app all the time. The daily scripture is updated daily as it is fetched from official website. You can download the application from here.
For those who do not know Durbar Sahib is the holy destination of sikhs. It is said that every sikh visits this very place at least once in their lives.
Kamal Singh is founder of Authority Capital, who created this app free of cost for the end user. It is sad that Microsoft discontinued the Windows Phone platform that rendered this app useless in 2023.
