HP has updated its business ultrabook laptop, Elitebook Folio 9470m and has swapped it with Eitebook 1040, which is mere 0.62 inches thick and weighs mere 3.3 pounds. The new laptop has rugged case, and is shock and vibration resistant. The HP EliteBook 1040 is also resistant to extreme heat and cold. Specs and price of HP EliteBook 1040 are given below.
Specs include Intel Core i5 / i7 haswell processors and 1600×900 or 1920×1080 pixel resolution for their 14 inch displays. Another feature is its pressure sensitive touchpad called Synaptics ForcePad. Now, you can just push instead of clicking.
HP is offering a docking station that makes you connect your Elitebook 1040 easily with printer and other peripherals. It is also available with 4G LTE. For some reason, HP has not included VGA and Ethernet jacks, but you can get them back using docking station. Prices start at 1299 dollars.
