Google could put in Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 64-Bit quad-core processor in its next model in Nexus series, Nexus 6 which is expected in the second half of the year.
After unveiling the Nexus 5 Google started work on the next generation last year. Google might put Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor in Nexus 6. This big.LITTE SoC consists of a powerful Cortex-A57 Quad-core and an energy efficient Cortex-A53 Quad-core processor. The latest generation supports the 64-bit architecture. The performance of the new processor is expected to significantly exceed the current and could make Nexus 6 one of the fastest and efficient smartphones in the market.
The presentation of the Nexus 8 is expected in June or July, while the Nexus 6 smartphone will probably appear later.
