Joe Belfiore said on twitter that he would be taking several photos with his new Nokia Lumia 1020. One of its Twitter followers warned him of the Other storage problem that is prevalent in all Windows phones running WP8 OS. Joe responded to him that the problem "was solved in GDR2, and the updated firmware comes pre-installed on the Lumia 1020." See the discussion below:
It seems that Microsoft has finally recognized it as a "bug" and has fixed it in Amber / GDR2 update. We have received hints from Nokia that they will be releasing Amber update on August 14, 2013 – atleast to its Telstra users.
