EKWB EK-Vardar EVO 120ER RGB: Now also with RGB lighting

With the Vardar series, EK Water Blocks also offers its own fans for water cooling. Of course, they are designed especially for being used on radiators. Even the Slovenian water cooling specialist can not evade the RGB trend and is now launching a new, RGB-illuminated version with the EK-Vardar EVO 120ER RGB.

The RGB version is also designed to build up a high static pressure of up to 3.16 mmH2O and is therefore suitable as a radiator fan. As with the EK-Vardar EVO fans, a “start-stop-automatic” was integrated again. As soon as the PWM signal falls below a certain value (depending on the motherboard 25 to 30%), the fans stop completely and are pretty silent. The maximum speed of the 120 mm fan should be at 2,200 rpm. The maximum volume flow is given as 131 m³ / h.

In the center of the fan are nine RGB LEDs, which should be particularly bright. According to EK Water Blocks, the EK-Vardar EVO 120ER RGB are reportedly the brightest RGB fans on the market. The seven milk-white rotor blades are, according to the product photos, effectively lit by the LEDs. The lighting is connected via the regular 4-pin 12V RGB connection. This makes the fans compatible with the motherboard manufacturers’ RGB standards.

EK Water Blocks lists the EK-Vardar EVO 120ER RGB for 21,90 Euro . Compared to the unlit EK-Vardar EVO 120ER, the additional charge for RGB lighting is around 4 euros.
