Stock recovery for Motorola Moto E 2015 is now available for download. If you have flashed custom recovery like TWRP or CWM on your Moto E 2015, you will not be able to receive OTA updates on your android phone. This is because the system is aware of the fact that you have applied mods on your phone and prohibits you from getting any future updates.
Flashing custom recovery on Moto E 2015 will re enable the OTA updates. This is meant to be flashed to only GSM units which means if your phone is XT1511, that is the CDMA version, you cannot flash it.
