Asus T100 is one of the most popular tablets on Amazon as well as on other retailers. Right now it is being sold for just USD 374. The one being sold comes with quad core Atom Z3740 but now the company is going to upgrade that CPU to Z3775.
Performance differences are going to be noticeable as Z3775 runs at 1.47GHz (up to 2.39GHz under turbo boost mode) compared to the Z3740 that runs at 1.33GHz (and 1.86 GHz in turbo boost).
However, this change in CPU would not make it a high end device but new Intel chips based on bay trail-t are not slow and weak like first and second generation netbook processors like N270, N455 and so on.
