AMD Ryzen 5 2600 is a processor of 6 cores and 12 threads , the price was filtered yesterday on Amazon and will be about 214 euros. The speed of this CPU is 3.4 GHz with a maximum Boost of 3.9 GHz. Its TDP is calculated to be 65 W and it has 16MB of L3 cache. System setup – ASRock motherboard with X370 chipset and 16 GB of DDR4 3333 MHz RAM.
The first test was made in Cinebench R15, and the score obtained by the processor, with OC at 4 GHz and RAM memory at 3333 MHz, is 1384. It has also made other tests, such as the AIDA64 cache and memory, registering a maximum latency of 61 ns for the memory and with reading speeds of 46787 MB / s, writing of 46397 MB / s and copying of 43877 MB / s. These last results have been obtained with the memory running at 3466 MHz.
The user tried to increase the OC , but the system did not allow it, when he tried to do OC at 4.2 GHz (1.45 V) the system was left hanging when trying to run Prime95. However, it is important that we take into account that this processor is not prepared for the OC as its version X, which will allow better speeds of OC.
