Samsung is all set to introduce a Ace 3 this month at a London event. The phone was spotted at the FCC headquarters few days back. Folks at Sammobile have already got a picture of how it looks. The Ace 3 is a marginal improvement over the Galaxy Ace 2 that was released last year. It still packs a dual core chip and WVGA display but packs more RAM and runs the latest Android 4.2 operating system.
Specs of the Ace 3 include 4 inch WVGA display, 1GB RAM, 1.2GHZ dual core processor, 1500 mAh battery and Android 4.2 operating system. Clearly, the specs are good enough to keep it being a competition to upcoming Galaxy S4 Mini. Pricing information is not available but galaxy-phone.net says it will retail between 250-350 dollars.
The main benefit of Android is that there are so many different phones of all shapes and sizes to fit different people’s needs. I don’t see why people are complaining when Samsung is giving people more choice. Go the other way, and you’ll end up with a one size tries to fit all iPhone, and no one wants that.
That said, they should have called this the Galaxy S4 Nano. Heck, the next Note should be called the Galaxy S4 Note, along with the Galaxy S4 Note 8″.
