No FM Radio on Verizon HTC One

For some reason, HTC or Verizon decided to exclude FM radio from the Verizon HTC One, unlike all of its carrier variants (except for the Play Edition). Interestingly, the Broadcom FM / combo chip is the same as the one used in One Play edition. In other words, FM is disabled on it.

Even if you root it and install a FM app such as this one, all you will hear is static and you will not be able to tune into any of the radio stations.

Verizon HTC One: How To Enable USB Debugging

Unlike Samsung Android phones, there is no straightforward way to enable USB debugging on the Verizon version of the HTC One. However, it is not too difficult and it does not messes with the warranty.

To enable USB debugging, go to Settings > About > Software Information > More > Build number – tap Build number 7 times to enable developer mode. You will now get a window on the screen saying "developer mode has been enabled".

Downgrade Galaxy Note 8.0 from 4.2.2 to 4.1.2

Last month, the official Android 4.2.2 update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 N5110 was leaked and few days back, folks at mini tablet leaked out the ROM for the N5100 Note 8.0 as well. However, many people, including me, have noticed faster battery drain since I have installed this update. S-Pen users will also notice a drop in accuracy compared to the Android 4.1.2 ROM. So, here are the steps if you wish to downgrade Galaxy Note 8.0 from 4.2.2 to 4.1.2.

I have successfully downgraded mine using the below given steps and Samsung Kies is also able to recognize it just fine.
