Bose QuietComfort 35 II is a noise cancelling headset that is excellent for gaming. Bose QuietComfort 35 II looks just like first generation so from outside you will not notice any changes.
However, there are small modifications here and there. For instance, earmuffs are gold in color on black variant.
Bose QuietComfort 35 II are very comfortable which has always been Bose’s strengths. Bose QuietComfort 35 II’s wide earmuffs ensure that they wrap the ears well and weight is well distributed so even if you wear gaming headsets for longer durations, they should not cause any ear fatigue.
There is one thing that we don’t like about the Bose QuietComfort 35 II though and that is use of micro USB like the version 1. Everyone has moved to USB Type-C and it is shocking to see Bose still using Micro USB for connecting to computer or phone.
The microphone input is very clear. The package also includes USB desktop controller and microphone’s 3.5mm cable if your computer does not have a micro USB port. This desktop controller is very nifty. Just turn the knob to change volume from high to medium to low.
The microphone has excellent noise cancelling technology so sound is very clear even if you are using it in a noisy environment.
