Asus has officially unveiled G751JY, G751JT and G751JM GPUs. The G751 series was unveiled back at the IFA 2014 technology event last September. Common specifications of G751JY, G751JT and G751JM include 17.3 inch display packing resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
Choice of processors for G751JY, G751JT and G751JM include Intel Core i7-4860HQ and i7-4710HQ (G751JY), i7-4710HQ (G751JT) and i7-4710HQ or i5-4200H for G751JM. Maximum amount of RAM for all models is 32 gigabytes.
Nvidia GeForce GTX 980M GPU with 4GB of memory is used in G571JY while the G571JT uses GeForce GTX 970M with 3GB of onboard RAM. The G571JM comes with 860M with 2GB of memory.
For storage you can go for 1TB / 2TB 7200RPM hard disk, 1TB HDD hybrid storage with 8 GB of eMMC cache or 128 or 256 gigabytes of solid state drive.
Other specifications of Asus G751JY, G751JT and G751JM include DVD super multi / blu-ray player, HD webcam with microphone, four USB 3.0 ports, VGA video port, HDMI and Display port. For connectivity you get gigabit Ethernet, SD memory card reader, Kensington lock and 8 cell battery.
The ASUS G751 measures 416 x 318 x 23/42 mm and has a weight of 4.3 Kg. The G751JM and other models weighs 5.3kg. ASUS has not yet announced pricing and availability of the new ROG G751JY, G751JM and G751JT laptops.
