Apple has released a new 8GB variant of iPhone 5C. It first turned up on O2 UK’s website, and now it has gone official on company’s website as well.
Apple is selling it for GBP 429 which makes it about 40 pounds cheaper than the 16 gigabyte model that retails for GBP 469. The 32 GB variant sells for whopping £549. Other than the change in storage capacity, nothing else has changed.
The 8GB iPhone 5C comes with a 4 inch Retina display that packs a resolution of 1136 x 640 pixels and comes with 1GB of RAM and an Apple A6 processor that was also used in yesteryear’s iPhone 5.
Other specifications include an 8 megapixel rear camera and a front facing 1.2 mega pixel Face Time webcam for doing video calls.
As expected, the 5C comes with latest version of Apple’s mobile OS, Apple iOS 7.1 pre-installed. Find more on Apple’s website.
