PIXELA has announced it will resume sales of the LTE compatible USB dongle PIX-MT110 from March 2023. Sales had been discontinued from April 2022 due to the shortage of semiconductors. The direct sales price is 499 USD.
PIX-MT110 is a USB dongle that can communicate in LTE Category-4. In addition to the platinum bands of docomo, au, and SoftBank, it also supports Rakuten Mobile and various MVNOs, enabling high-speed communication through the LTE network. It works without a dedicated driver and supports Windows, macOS, Linux, and ChromeOS.
Not only PIX-MT110 can be used by connecting directly to a PC, but it can also be used like a stationary Wi-Fi router by connecting it to a USB charger. It can also be used for network connection with smartphones, tablets, and game consoles.
PIX-MT110 comes equipped with one Nano SIM card slot, the corresponding band is LTE Band 1/3/8/18/19, the maximum communication speed is 150 Mbps maximum downlink / 50 Mbps uplink. The wireless function supports IEEE 802.11b/g/n.
The main body size of PIX-MT110 measures about 39 x 93 x 14 mm, and the weight is about 42 grams.
