Philips Monitors announced the launch of a new touch screen models with Android operating system dedicated to multimedia, gaming and fast access to the Internet. The Smart All-In-One, the new Philips monitors with Android 4.2 OS and Quad-core, ARM-based Nvidia Tegra T3, processor, provides a seamless visual experience.
Smart All-In-One is characterized by the excellent quality of the Philips display. Available in two versions, S221C4AFD with a 21.5 inch display and S231C4AFD with a 23-inch display, Smart All-In-One features a wide screen with 16:9 aspect ratio and Full HD support for immersive entertainment experience. Both are LCD/ADS IPS display with 2-point touch support, up to 250 cd/m² bright, and support 1980 x 1080 resolution.
The Smart All-In-One display makes it easy and compelling to end-user. There is no need to connect a PC as the display has all the features integrated. With direct access to the Google Play Store, users can access whole world of applications.
With the touch technology, it supports gestures such as “pinch” to zoom, swirl “swipe” and “scroll. For added comfort and ergonomics, Philips Smart All-In-One can be placed almost horizontally on the table, or vertically to work at the desk. Smart All-In-One is equipped with USB 2.0 ports for connecting virtually any device, users can also connect a mouse and keyboard. It also features: built-in 1 MP webcam with integrated microphone, WiFi 802.11 b / g / n, 2 GB DDR3 RAM and 8 GB of flash eMMC storage.
External memory expansion options include an optional SDHC card, USB flash drive up to 64 GB, or external HDD. Both variant allow for VGA port, MHL-HDMI support, a RJ-45 jack, and audio-in and Headphone jack. The new Philips Smart All-In-One S221C4AFD model is currently available at price of € 439 ($ 600) and S231C4AFD model at price of € 469 ($ 645).
