According to evleaks, Nokia is working on the successor to the Asha 501 feature phone. They claim that the phones are currently codenamed Pegasus and Lanai, which would be launched as Asha 502 and Asha 503 respectively. We believe, that they will be 3G variants of the Asha 501 that everyone has been waiting for.
Asha 502 could be the single SIM model while 503 will be dual SIM variant. Previous leaks of Evleaks suggested that the 3G version would also sport a better 5 mega pixel camera along with flash to take pictures in dark. Nokia is also said to be bringing music store to the touchscreen Asha range.
It will be challenging, however, to see if Nokia is able to keep the price around 100 dollars. Anything more than that will lure people towards Nokia Lumia 520 windows phone which is of course, a smarter choice all together.
