MSI GS40 Phantom is a 14 inch laptop packing latest technologies. MSI GS40 Phantom specs include an Intel Core i7-6700HQ sixth generation processor, high-end processor that perhaps is a bit too much for games but MSI has wanted to be on the safe side so we have no problem.
Along with this, the Phantom GS40 has a dedicated graphics card called the MSI Nvidia GeForce GTX 970M, 16GB DDR4 RAM, a 256GB M.2 (SATA) SSD and additionally a 2.5-inch 1TB mechanical hard drive.
MSI GS40 Phantom comes with 14-inch full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) display and speaking of the display, MSI has used special thin components that keeps the overall profile very thin and compact. Thanks to its dual independent cooling system, the GPU and CPU will not suffer from overheating problems.
On the connectivity side, you get two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 3.1 Type-C reversible connector, card reader, webcam and even Full HD HDMI output to connect to an external monitor.
Of course, you also get features that are common to all MSI gaming laptops that include SteelSeries backlit keyboard, Dynaudio stereo speakers and 802.11ac WiFi / Bluetooth 4.1 combo module. It is available for 1800 euros.
