During the celebration of the IFA 2018 in Berlin, the brand specialized in the design and manufacture of peripherals, Logitech, has presented its new gaming mouse Logitech G502 HERO, plus its new wireless keyboard Logitech K600 TV. Both peripherals should reach the international market in the coming months.
With the event IFA 2018 running at full speed these days, the brands do not stop presenting new components for their catalogs. This is the case of Logitech, which has taken advantage of the fair in Berlin to present two new peripherals : the gaming mouse Logitech G502 HERO and the wireless multimedia keyboard Logitech K600.
This brand new gaming mouse is a new revision of its old model Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum (which, in turn, was already revision of the original G502 Proteus Core of 2014) that went on the market a couple of years ago and had, in its moment, excellent results in the analysis of the different web pages. For this new model, Logitech has retained completely the design and number of buttons that the original mouse uses (11 programmable buttons), as well as the possibility of modifying the weight of the set thanks to the ability to insert up to 5 different weights in the body.
Logitech G502 HERO review
Anyway, the most important change that has occurred in this new Logitech G502 HERO is the change of the original optical sensor by the new sensor HERO (High Efficiency Rated Optical), an optical sensor developed by the brand itself. In fact, we have already seen how the brand has started to use it in its new wireless gaming mouse Logitech G Pro Wireless. Thanks to this new sensor, the resolution of the G502 goes up to 16,000 DPI.
The new Logitech G502 HERO mouse will be available at a price of 89.99 euros, although the manufacturer has not specified the date it will go on sale.
The other peripheral that has been presented today is the Logitech K600 TV wireless keyboard, a new member that joins the long list of wireless K-series multimedia keyboards that the company already has in its catalog.
This new keyboard comes on the market to be used with Smart TV brands Samsung, LG, Philips and Sony Bravia, for which has a series of dedicated keys that are compatible with these Smart TV, as well as a circular trackpad located in its right side, so that the user can control the cursor. And, since it is wireless, the keyboard has a maximum distance of 15 m to the receiver and a range of 1 year using batteries.
The Logitech K600 TV would reach the market in mid-September at a price of 79.99 euros.
