Lenovo has updated its range of Android tablet with the new and more powerful Lenovo Yoga 10 + HD Tablet. This model will be the successor of Yoga Tablet 10 launched in 2013, for which it will have a technical improvement in hardware and software.
The Lenovo Yoga tablet is 10 + HD is now equipped with a new 10.1-inch IPS display, which has a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 1.6 GHz per core and a whopping 2 GB of RAM, and Adreno 305 GPU. Lenovo has also worked at the sensors and software. The significantly higher pixel density to 10.1 inch is a really a value addition.
The new Lenovo Yoga tablet will be equipped with 16GB or 32GB of storage expandable via micro SD card slot, Dolby stereo speakers, WiFi 802.11n and Bluetooth 4.0. The budget will be supplemented by an 8-MP rear and 1.6 MP front camera, 9000mAh battery which can work for 18 hours in a stretch. It features Android 4.3 ‘Jelly Bean’. The update to Android 4.4 KitKat is scheduled for May 2014. The design does not change much. We will find the original elegant shell in aluminum alloy and polycarbonate, with a maximum thickness of only 8 mm and a weight of 600 g.
The tablet also features some five new apps named Secureit, SyncIt, ShareIt, SNAPit and SeeIT . While the first two apps have self explanatory names, ShareIt is for data to be synchronized between two devices, SNAPit is the new camera app and SeeIT for a new app for photos.
Lenovo Yoga tablet 10 HD + will be introduced in the market in the month of April, priced at $ 349 in the basic WiFi-only configuration. It will also be available in WiFi +3 G versions, with 64GB of internal memory and a special bronze color.
