Last month, HTC released couple of min-range Android phones at the MWC 2014 event. Now it looks like these are not the only devices HTC is planning to launch and is working on another budget Android phone dubbed as HTC Desire 516. It was recently approved in China and is most probably going to be released on March 25.
PhoneArena was able to squeeze out its specifications before its official launch. They say it will come with a 5-inch display packing a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. HTC Desire 516 measures mere 140x72x9.7 mm and weighs a hefty 173 grams.
Under its shell is a quad-core 1.3GHz processor with 512MB of memory. Other specifications include 5 mega pixel rear shooter, 0.3 MP webcam and TD-SCDMA connectivity. It runs Android 4.2 jelly bean operating system.
PhoneArena also said that there will two variants of it and the higher-speced version will come with 1GB of RAM, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and a 1.2GHz quad-core processor. There is no information on launch of either variant, but we will let you know as more information comes up.
