Dong Nguyen, the creator Flappy Bird has mentioned in an interview with Rolling Stone that it could make a comeback on Android and iPhone. However unlike the original game, there would be a warning message at the start of the game to notify users that playing Flappy Bird for a long time could be harmful to user’s health.
The developer earlier pulled out the game from the Play Store as he thought that the game was simply too addictive for users even though he was making more than USD 50,000 in ad revenue from it each day.
After its removal from app stores, numerous clones have been hitting the app hubs every day. We are sure that the fans will appreciate the re-launch of the original game. It shall be noted though that Ngugen has not specified any concrete release date so we don’t know when it will be making the comeback.
