Both CWM and TWRP have been made available for the Verizon version of HTC One Android phone. To install, you must first unlock your phone at htcdev.com and then follow the below given steps.
For CWM
Download this and Boot phone into fastboot
Perform command fastboot flash recovery recovery-clockwork-touch-6.0.3.6-m7vzw.img or the recovery.img file name
Boot into HBOOT and select recovery
For TWRP, follow these steps.
Download this and boot phone into fastboot
Perform command fastboot flash recovery openrecovery-twrp-2.6.0.1-m7vzw.img
Boot into HBOOT and select recovery
To Perform root on Verizon HTC One
Download this; place it on your SD card of your HTC One and flash it in recovery.
Congratulations, you have not only installed CWM / TWRP but also have rooted your Verizon HTC One.
Rooting will allow you to install applications that require super user access. After rooting, you will have SuperSu loaded on your Android phone.
