The Aviiq Portable Charging Station is exactly that, a device that offers a variety of ways to charge your portable devices, and is itself geared toward portability. It offers up an AC adapter with fold up prongs so it fits handily in the case, as well as a USB adapter with four ports that works with any USB 2.0 compatible device that charges with five to ten watts of power. It also offers up a variety of pouches so you can store the cables necessary to make the charging happen.
Convenience abounds here, as does sheer ease of use. Operation is about as simple as it comes, with just two plugs separating you from charging most any device. And you’ll even be able to charge up your tablet with this as well, even if it doesn’t fit inside the device itself. Like I said in the opening, if you do a lot of traveling, you’re going to want this on hand. Not only does this make a good charging device, but it can also be used as a case for your portable gear. Slip your Apple iPhone and MP3 player into the pouches as well as the charging gear, and you’ve managed to kill two birds with one stone. When you do a lot of traveling, you know the importance of having devices serve more than one purpose so you can cut down on the space needed to pack them. The Aviiq Portable Charging Station does that in spades.
As you might expect, an Aviiq product is far from cheap, and the Aviiq Portable Charging Station is no exception. These retail for $79.99, and that’s quite a bit to have a convenient place to charge your devices.
The Aviiq Charging Station is simple, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t do the job. This certainly does handle the issues, and nicely. It’s a little expensive for what it does, though when you consider that it manages to serve several purposes at once, you’ll find the value present.
