ASUS Transformer Book V Specifications, hybrid laptop with phone

It does not matter whether it makes sense or not but it will surely turn some heads and raise some eyebrows. Meet the ASUS Transformer Book V that is a 3 in 1 device. It can do a duty of a phone, tablet and a laptop. The phone runs Android operating system but its tablet part can dual boot between Android and Windows operating system. This allows the user to use the keyboard dock to use it as conventional windows laptop.

It has 12.5 inch display and packs 1280×720 pixels. The keyboard dock not only packs a physical keyboard but also 1TB hard disk drive. For running windows and Android , 4GB RAM is more than sufficient. The smartphone has 5 inch display and runs Android 4.4 kitkat on Intel Atom CPU based on Moorefield platform.

According to engadget it will take some time for Asus to release the Transformer Book V. Personally we are extremely curious to see how everything will work.  It is said to have 10 hour battery life thanks to massive 28Wh capacity. There are two cameras on the phone – 8MP in the rear and 2 MP on the front. Unlike other Transformer tableta we have come across, it does not have a built in battery.
