The Alps windows tablet is a 10.1-inch Intel Atom Z3740D “Bay Trail T” quad-core SoC based tablet, which operates at 1.33 GHz standard clock and switches to up to 1.83 GHz when needed. The device also has 2 GB RAM and is equipped with 32 GB of SSD, expandable via microSD card slot. The display has a resolution of 1280 × 800 pixels on and uses the IPS technology.
In addition, it has an HDMI output, a USB 2.0 port, a 2 MP and a 5 MP camera on the front and back respectively, two speakers and a 8000mAh battery. The tablet weighs 700 grams and 9.7 mm thick. It have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 as connectivity options. The tablet is delivered with a Bluetooth keyboard.
The starting price is 499 Euros. The other variant with an integrated 3G modem will cost 549 Euros. Office 2013 Home and Student is also included in the price.
