Acer has released a 14-inch laptop AV14-51-A58Y that uses recycled plastic for the housing and uses the 12th generation intel Core i5 for the CPU from the Vero product series that emphasizes sustainability. The list price is 827 USD which makes it one of more affordable laptops with 12th generation Intel series processor.
Recycled plastic PCR is used for the housing of Acer AV14-51-A58Y laptop. Of these, 50% are keycaps and 30% are chassis excluding liquid crystal frames, reducing CO2 emissions by about 21% compared to conventional products. The housing is unpainted Mariana Blue.
