Asus has launched two new mini PCs in the market which are VivoPC VM42 and VM62N. It features polycarbonate shell with aluminium alloy cover that bears concentric circles like the new Zenfone phones.
The cheaper one is VivoPC VM42 that comes with an Intel Celeron chip and up to 16GB of RAM. The graphics are handled by Intel integrated GPU.
Of course the show stopper is the VivoPC VM62N that features Intel Core i3 4030U processor and Nvidia GeForce GT 820M GPU that is perfect for casual gamer who do not pushes all the settings to max.
There are plenty of ports at the back – 4x USB 4.0 ports, 2x USB 2.0, HDMI, display port, S / PDIF output, 4 in 1 memory card reader (supports SD / SDHC / SDXC / MMC), Kensington lock, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11ac dual band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and Asus Sonic Master technology with integrated speakers.
The ASUS VivoPC VM42 and VM62N will be available from mid-July.
