Huawei presented the Huawei MediaPad X1 7 inch and the Huawei MediaPad M1 8-inch tablet at MWC 2014. Both Android tablets are equipped with striking designs. While the MediaPad X1 playing against the high-end competition, the MediaPad M1 is made more for the smaller budget.
The Huawei MediaPad M1, the 8-inch IPS display offers a resolution of 1280 x 920 pixels. At the front, there are two speakers. Inside tinkers a 1.6 GHz quad-core processor and a 4,800 mAh battery, which will provide for a period of about 8 hours. The memory sticks with 1GB of RAM and there is 16 GB internal memory which can be expanded via mircoSD card. Back is made of aluminum, there is a 5 MP camera, while a 1 MP camera was placed at the front. As an operating system, it will be equipped with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. User will be able to make calls with the 8-inch Tablet, even if you buy the UMTS or LTE version. It will cost € 299.
The Huawei MediaPad X1, the 7-inch display has a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and a very high brightness of 515 nits. At 10.3 inches, it is so far the smallest 7-inch tablet with only 239 grams of weight. Nevertheless, in the 7.18 mm thin housing a 5,000 mAh battery is found. The tablet is powered by the 1.6 GHz quad-core processor from the company, which is based on the Cortex-A9, it also has a 2 GB RAM. It features a heavily customized Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. On the back there is a 13 MP camera and LTE-Advanced support. The price is € 399 ($ 549).
