The Samsung Galaxy S 5 was officially presented yesterday at MWC 2014. It is priced at $ $650.
Samsung designed the Galaxy S5 with a new 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display that provides a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The screen can be extremely bright for outdoor use or extremely dark for completely dark environments. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor at 2.5 GHz with a 2 GB RAM available. It has 32 GB internal memory expandable via microSD card. In super saver mode, the display changes to a particular representation and offers only basic functions, so you can still be reached. This works for 10% remaining battery.
Striking feature is of course the new back. On the back the 16-MP camera with a super-fast autofocus stands out. Videos can now also record in 4K resolution. Below the display there is a new home button with an integrated fingerprint sensor. The USB 3.0 port on the bottom is now provided with a cap to protect it against dust and water.
