Acer will be launching an Android based tablet by the first quarter of the year. Powered by an Intel Atom processor, 1 GB RAM, it has a 7.9 inch, a 1024 x 768 pixel display.
For connectivity purpose it offers 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0. The model has a 5MP primary rear camera with 1080p video recording, and a 2MP front-facing camera. The Iconia A1-830 has a 1.6 GHz Clover trail dual core Intel Atom Z2560 processor with PowerVR SGX544 GPU, and Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean OS. It promises up to 7.5 hours of battery life. Tablet has 16 GB internal memory, expandable to 32 GB via microSD card. Model is 8.2 mm thick and weights 380 grams.
